Materials: Glass Reinforced dough and sheet moulding compound (DMC, SMC) in Polyester, Vinylester and Phenolic resins.

Tooling: High quality tool steel with hardened shut-off edges. Can have built-in ejection and heating.

Typical applications: Electrical components, Business machine casings, truck cab body panels

Characteristics: Strong, very accurate mouldings. Less costly than metal parts when complex shapes are required. Bosses, metal inserts and ribs can be moulded in. Electrical, chemical resistant, fire retardant, class 'A' automotive finish grades available. Can be painted with care.
